Pride is the most paradoxical of all sins, and the most persistent. In fact, I'm probably proud of the fact that I just said that.  :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It can easily become the subject of jokes, and maybe we should laugh at our silly arrogance sometimes. On the other hand, pride is deadly serious and demands rigorous repentance ALWAYS.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the good post (not to puff you up).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BTW - I stopped by because I've seen your site on several blogrolls lately. I'm enjoying the visit. Now, since you're making beer a major theme, am I right to assume you're some form of Presbyterian?
