Oh, so true. Pride is the most paradoxical of all sins, and the most persistent. In fact, I'm probably proud of the fact that I just said that. :)
It can easily become the subject of jokes, and maybe we should laugh at our silly arrogance sometimes. On the other hand, pride is deadly serious and demands rigorous repentance ALWAYS.

BTW - I stopped by because I've seen your site on several blogrolls lately. I'm enjoying the visit. Now, since you're making beer a major theme, am I right to assume you're some form of Presbyterian? I like the way Presbyterians aren't hung up about beer and cigars (even though I partake of neither).
